One Night That Changes Everything was a breath of fresh air. It was lighthearted, and I found myself finishing it in one sitting.I liked the characters, especially Cooper—I mean, come on. Who wouldn’t? But I could definitely see why Eliza felt the way she did about him in the beginning. I love how well fleshed out Barnholdt's characters are. She writes some of the most seemingly authentic teenagers I've come across. While I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I have to say the notebook was a little bit silly. Even with the secrets it held, I didn’t think it was THAT big of a deal—but then, I may feel differently if a similar thing had happened to me. I'd say the weakest point of the book for ME was the plot, just because I didn't really understand the big deal. But it wasn't enough to keep me from enjoying the story.Overall, One Night That Changes Everything was a lot of fun, and I recommend it if you’re looking for a feel good book.
